I have a 99 Buick which just died and I want to remove the automatic car starter from it to put in the 02 Nissan Maxima I just purchased. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to safely remove it?

There are multiple components involved with a remote start system. Integration to any vehicle is quite involved. If all componenets aren't removed and properly transferred, both cars could be rendered useless.
If you're not familiar with vehicle wiring, this would be best left to someone with experience.
What is your level of experience?

$60 to make your car work again.. Seems like a bargain to me!

That's what I say! Hopefully it will in fact make the car work again! Either way I want it out of there though.. they apparently are nototrious for malfunctions in cars.
