I've got it. It was very difficult to conceive but I was finally able to. I now have a 6 year old daughter. If you're trying to get pregnant now then I suggest that you see a fertility specialist. Also check out SoulCysters.com: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment & Resources (http://www.soulcysters.com) for more information about PCOS.

I was on Metformin for awhile but all it did was give me a stomachache. I took Clomid when I was trying to conceive and it did the job on the second try.

I found that I got the best results (regarding my PCOS symptoms) when I started following a low-carb diet. In addition to losing weight my periods became regular and physically I felt much better.

T too have pcos. There are other med options if metformin upsets the tummy. Clomid is used to conceive not help the pcos. I also found that if you follow a diabetic diet, you get the best results

I was wondering, how long do people with this take metformin for? Does pcos ever really go away?
