I'm not sure if I said that correctly, but I am about to move into a place that doesn't have a stovetop/ oven because she said it requires 220V and the outlet doesn't allow it. She's been researching it, but I decided I'd check into that as well. I wanted to place a stovetop/ oven in the house, but are there manufacturers that make appliances such as a stove that uses less than 220V? If so, who are they? Your info would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Here are just a couple:

Keep in mind any 120 volt appliance will need a separate circuit, check each for the amps it will need.
