Does anyone know what it costs to build a ski resort-- at least the skiing part?

With current the cost of lift tickets, I'd say the cost of running a resort would far exceed the GNP of many third world countries... and I love to ski

Well I do a lot of skiing, for the past 15 years I have practised slalom skiing on dry slopes 8 hours a week, and we are very good friends with the owners of a dry ski slope, and the price of a 600 metre drag lift can range from 40 - 100 thousand English sterling.
