My blower motor in the air handler would initially turn on with the start up of the air conditioner. After a couple of minutes the internal fuse would shut down the motor and we could still hear the refrigerant running through the lines. An amp check on the motor showed that it was drawing to many amps and also the motor was extremely hot.
Replaced the motor and I still have the same problem.
What next, the capacitor?

Always replace the capacitor when replaceing motor. The correct size of cap for motor will be stamped on the box the motor came in as well as on the motor itself
