The dryer has been making some squeaking lately. Well, today it got super loud and has started to feel extra hot on the top and control panel.
It is electric and the model number is: FDE336RES1
Can anyone help me?

Could be the belt. It can squeak if bad and if the drum is not turning it will not remove the heat. Noise could also be from the rollers. Open the unit and check the belt. Also while open check the other componets for anything that seems not normal.
