How can a website help marketing? How does it help attract customers?
Thank you :D

A website on it's own is completely useless.
It's like opening a shop with NO passing trade.
Think about it.

A lot depends on what you are marketing. Generally a website is used to allow a prospective customer to get more info about your company and products. But they rarely drive sales unless you have a niche product.

It's useful if you have a business. It's professional to have on business cards, or if you're
Emailing a resume in the visual arts. If you have another product, it's useful for people
To get a map or picture of the product at their home or office.

EXPECTING TO GET INTO THE TOP TEN ON A SEARCH ENGINE IS NOT THE GOAL.
