While browsing Outlook through VPN from My home, received this error...

Buffer Overrun Detected
Program C:\Program Files\Symantec Antivirus\Rtvscan.exe

Please Help me to remove this error, I have Formated My Laptop But the error comes again

I'm almost positive that this a piece of the infamous buffer virus that was found and utilized through a hole in Outlook.

First you should try using this software inspector to see if that is indeed what is happening: Software Inspector - Secunia (http://secunia.com/software_inspector/)

If that is the case, have no fear, Microsoft released a patch for Outlook to block out the problems: Microsoft Download Center Search Results (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/results.aspx?pocId=&freetext=328676&DisplayLang=en)

If you are still having problems, contact Microsoft immediately because this leaves a huge vulnerability in your account. After all is said and done, I recommend getting Spyware Doctor to try to cut off viruses and the like before they infect or disrupt the programming in your computer. Good luck!
