What are the pin holes in my barnboard caused by? There are piles of fine wood dust on the floor.

Sounds like it may possibly be carpenter bees depending on where you live.

They aren't carpenter bees, because we have seen no bee activity. It is happening inside the wall of our enclosed breezeway. We live in New England.

You don't have to see bee activity for them to be present. They are in New England also.

I think I found out what they are... powder post beetles. Either way, I guess I need to call Orkin. Thank you for taking the time to answer me.
