Ok, so here is what happened:

Before my period in July, I found 1 birth control pill on the floor. I must have dropped it before taking it. However, I got my normal period right on time and my OBGYN said just to start my new pack as usual.

So I did and have taken them like clockwork all month and have always been strict about taking the pill correctly. 3 days before my period this month was due my husband and I had sex, no condom, but did pull out.

I had cramps and got my period at the normal time but it only lasted 2 days and was fairly light. (used a few tampons). Last month was heavier. It does this every couple months. Then Friday night I had a stomach ache (which I think was due to bad BBQ that day) and a headache on Saturday morning.

I took a pregnant. Test on Sunday morning and it was negative. Am I worrying too much? Since I am on the pill and take it correctly and had sex 2 days before my period was due, am I at risk?

Chances are slim, but there is still a small chance. I, for one got pregnant on the pill, its always a possibility, but I'd say you are probably safe. I'd say the lighter period was a comnination of the missed pill, and nature... good luck

When did you conceive during your cycle when you were on the pill?

I have no idea... it was a surprise and one I didn't know about until I was almost 10 weeks along... this was with my first son who will be 4 in 1 week... its been a while :) My husband and I were very sexually active then, so its really up in the air... LOL

The chacnes of you conceiving so close to your period are very slim, but You really can't rule it out... if that's what you mean.

Yea I guess I can't rule it out. I felt fine after I got my period and cramps at the usual time. Even though they lasted 2 days. It came back a little on Sunday like it always does.

So will it take until I would miss the next period to know? Sorry about all the questions!

Sometimes you get lucky... I got a pos test result this time around a week before my missed period, but that is rare... my hormone levels were just high... if you wait until a week after missed period, the chances for a false negative go down, and even more so if you wait two weeks... sorry.
