Hi,

I've got a Lennox Diplomat A/C unit, model 10AC30-3P. Connected to the furnace. When I switch the Thermostat to cool, it clicks on as per normal, fan goes, compressor goes, and no cool air.

Does this sound like a refrigerant problem? What are the typical causes of this?

Thanks much,

Tony Weiss:confused:

Does the outdoor fan come on? Is the filter and coils clean? These you can check. You can also disconnect power to outside unit and wash coils off with a garden hose. Keep water off motor and electrical componets. Much more than this you will need to call tech to check the pressures. It could need refrigerant added. YOu really should have the unit serviced yearly. Good Luck

Yup, the fan comes on no problem. I'll check the filter and coils to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks & cheers,
Tonyw

If after checking, no difference, you will need to call for service. Good Luck
