Our Kenmore Washer HE2 plus front loader machine is not starting. The panel lights up and the buttons all work, the door closes and clicks. When you set the cycle and go to press the start button nothing happens. The dryer is working and the electricity in the basement is working. There has been nothing wrong with the machine since we purchased the it in Feb.

We are 2 weeks away from Sears coming to help us, so I thought I might get an answer sooner!! They could not give us advice over the phone only to unplug the machine for 2 minutes and try again.

Since it is under warranty, I would advise against trying to do anymore than you have already done. If you go into the unit you may void the warranty. I understand 2 weeks is a long time to be without an appliance that when are so dependent on
