Does anyone remember the name of this show?

- The host did some crafty things both inside & outside (such as making a sailboat out of a sail, etc.)
- There was a talking statue.
- I'm pretty sure there were a giant pair of scissors as well as a giant pencil on the set.
- & my sister's 100% positive the host was british.

My memories are pretty vague & I watched it in the mid to late 90's. Thanks!

Do you have any idea what station/affiliate carried the program?

I live in Canada so it could be CTV, CBC or YTV but my mom thinks it's Family Channel or Nickelodeon.

It sounds like a kid's show. If so, there was an american one called Pappyland
(or Papyland... not quite sure how to spell it) on PBS a few years back.

Yep, it's definitely Art Attack :) Here's a clip of the intro, if you want to make sure: YouTube - Art Attack 1992 to 1998 theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aBh7zRUYYc&mode=related&search=)
