   Okay here's something else that I regret! These past months haven't been the best for me!

When I was still in beauty school, I let my "friend" borrow my $100 chi straightener. I was cutting and styling her hair and I had to leave before I was done, and I felt bad. So I let her take my straightener home. I never saw it again. I know I probably can't do anything about it because there is no proof or anything, but I just want some advice. I tried talking to her and asking her if I could come and get it and stuff, but she just kept saying that she already gave it back to me. But you know... I am not stupid, I would know if someone gave something like that back to me, and if I had it, why would I be asking her? UGH ANNOYING! What do you think I should do?

Thanks so much!

Try hanging with her sometime, and if you go to her house, just investigate a little, see if you find it. If you do, go show her and be like I thought you said you gave it back? Or something. Lol. Hope that helps a little :-)

You can take her to small claims court. Contact your local court and ask them what needs to be done. I had friend who took someone to court over $75 so you can surely take her to court to either get back your Chi or the cost of the Chi.

Hmm, not too good of a friend here. I hope you will let her know how you feel. And find some new friend(s). I am like you, I have many tools and if I do allow someone to borrow one, which most don't even bother because they know how particular I am about my tools, I KNOW when I get it back.
