Are you using outlook on the server, or from a client machine?

Does the machine have internet connectivity?

Are you trying to conenct to your ISP's mailserver, or do you have a mailserver installed on your server? If so, is it Exchange?

Thank you for response.

I am using Outlook on client machines.

That all clients has internet connection through ISA proxy.

I am not using ISP's mail server. I am trying to connect internet mail server where we have our website domain.

What type of internet connection do you have? Sometimes ISPs will block connections to POP and SMTP servers that aren't their own. They do this to help fight spam from getting to the internet through their network.

You also might have the POP3 port(s) blocked by the ISA server. Normally, POP3 runs on port 110. Secure POP3 (SSL-POP) usually runs on port 995. If you also need to use SMTP, regular SMTP is 25, and Secure SMTP (SSMTP) is port 465. Make sure these are allowed outbound connections through the ISA server.
