I had my cartlidge pierced about 6 weeks ago and when I took the stud out to change it I noticed a knot on the back of my ear is this anything to be concerned about it is still sore to touch thank you sivy

Sounds like it is infected. Have you been sticking to the aftercare instructions?

Yes I have been cleaning it everyday and it is not red or pusy just a knot on the back

I have the same thing happening to my ear. Its just infected. You need to clean it everyday about 3 times a day. Morning, afternoon, and night. When you take the earring out and put it back in make sure to clean every single part of it.
