OK I am 15 and I used to be very insecure, but I have a lot more confidence now. So this summer I actually started wearing swimsuits (I have always hated my body. My mom thinks I'm a prozac miracle, everyone else just thinks my boyfriend makes me feel good about myself. The second is true, but whatever) but every time I shave my upper legs/thighs the hair comes back before I can even get to the beach. Why is this and what can I do to stop it?

I have the same problem. What I now do during the summer time is use a hair removal product like Nair or Veet on my upper thigh. I find that helps a lot.

Also I have notice that on the upper leg/thigh area your... or mine at least... grow in a few different directions... so the normal up shaving that I do on my lower legs doesn't really work on my upper legs... its usually the outter and inner thighs. So pay close attention and see which way the hair is going and you may have to change the direction you shave to get it all gone :)

When you shave the razor cuts off the hair at the skin, so as soon as the hair grows back even a tiny bit, you can feel the stubble. Sometimes I wax, sometimes I shave, but it is a much better feeling when you wax and 2 weeks later you only just begin to feel the stubble.
