OK so my period started last week but it was kind of a weird one... it had started on Wednesday and was kind of heavy. Then on Thursday it was pretty light and was gone by Friday. My period is ALWAYS on time... I also have a lot of the symptoms of being pregnant... tired all the time, my boobs are kind of sore, a little bit of weight gain (about 4 pounds). I took 3 hp tests and all came back negative. Is it possible that its just not showing up yet? I had gone to the doctors last Thursday but then I wasn't even thinking that I could be pregnant... it was just for a regular physical so he didn't take any blood or anything... he did say that a blood vessel in my abdomen was bigger then usual but I don't know what that means... any help would be appreciated... oh I've also been on birth control for the passed 2 years if that helps anyone

Have you had sex with an interuption in your birth control? Any diet changes?
Sometimes your period could be delayed due to vitamin deficiency, stress, diet, etc. Its also possible that an early pregnancy isn't detected by an at home test. I would wait a little while and possible schedule a blood test to confirm.
I'm not sure about the blood vessel he pointed out. Did he mention if you should experience side effects due to that?

No I've taken my because everyday at pretty much the same time... I haven't had any diet changes either... the doctor didn't say anything else about the blood vessel except he asked me when my last period was which kind of makes me think he thought it might be something else. It just seems kind of weird that I suddenly have all of these symptoms at the same time my period was shorter than usual... I went through what all of the different symptoms of pregnancy are and I have all of them except morning sickness. Do you think there's anything else that could cause all of the same symptoms

Never leave the doctor's office with a question. When you are unsure about something ask him/her that's what they get paid for, and the only stupid question is the one not asked.
