Hello big:

Depends...

There is no "criminal record" that's stashed somewhere, and that if you only knew how, you could find it. What there is, however, is only what any agency might FIND. Some may find everything. Some may find nothing. You'd, for sure, think the cops could find your "criminal record". But, they lose it as much as anybody does. Then again, some police agency's DO know how to search out records and you're not going to fool them.

That goes for private agencies too. If an employer really wants to know about your background, and is willing to pay for the information, then they'll find out. But, if they're cheap, they might miss is.

So, big, if you want to find your criminal record, hire a background search company and see what they come up with.

If any crime you committed was prosecuted at the state level, then it is possible that criminal records concerning you may be available online free of cost to you in the jurisdiction where you live. It would help to know where you live in order to answer your question more thoroughly. I may be incorrect about this, but to my knowledge, it is not possible to find conviction records of any court for cases that are prosecuted at the federal level.

If you go to any courthouse under the jurisdiction of where you may have committed a crime, your court records should also be available for public inspection.

First if you have a criminal record you should know it, when were you arrested, where you convicted, If you were convicted then you have a criminal record.

If you want a copy of it, you may go to most local police stations, pay a small fee and they will print a record out for you.
