Over the course of the last 2 weeks, multiple problems have been occurring with my 98 Chevy Malibu. First it would not start or even attempt to roll over. When the key was turned to off position, RPM gauge went crazy and moved all over the place. The problem was diagnosed and supposedly fixed by cleaning and replacing the battery ends. Over night the car is seeming to present other problems, specifically "LOC" appears on the radio display and there is no radio, tape player, or anything. I was told originally that it could be my Anti-theft had a problem, and so now I am concerned it will go back to not starting or anything.
Any ideas? As a woman living on a very fixed income I hate to take it to a garage without a preliminary diagnosos, as they do tend to take advantage of woman coming in alone sometimes.
Thanks.
