Hi , I think my abs is always on because of the pulasating... 01 impala 3.4 engine, I know the rotors and pads are fine. I changed then 2 times... so what do I look for? Can I pull a fuze the turn them off? Asumming that they are stuck on... tks

Check for codes.

If you're having a pulsating ride disturbance, all the time, you should check tire balance and/or out-of-round condition.

If you have pulsation only when braking, one or more front brake rotor and/or rear brake drum that isn't trued. Excessively out of spec due to poor heat dispersement, possibly due to driving/braking habit or poor quality components.

This can be difficult to determine: front or rear, but it can be done by someone experienced.

If the ABS had failed, the warning light would be on, but base braking would still work normally.

Stratmando agrees: Think it could also be shoe or pad problem, Possibly Contaminated with oil or brake fluid.

Contamination will frequently cause noises, whether the contamination is due to road debris on the rotors or drums, or fluid contamination from leaking hydraulic components.
