I would like to know if any one has a suggestion, or solution. I have installed a new fuel pump, and a new relay switch on an 1989 chevrolet 5.7 litre pick-up truck. I have checked every thing I can think of... the truck still won't start!

Any one have an answer to this solution?

. Ensure battery is fully charged and terminals and connectors are clean.

. Check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Here's how:

. Check for codes.

. Check for spark. If you don't have spark, test/replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM). Here's what it looks like and costs:

While we find your parts, please enter your ZIP Code at PartsAmerica.com (http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?PartType=194&PTSet=A)

Also, test/replace the coil:

While we find your parts, please enter your ZIP Code at PartsAmerica.com (http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?PartType=190&PTSet=A)

AutoZone may be able to test the ICM and coil for free.

. Ensure spark plugs (ACDelco only), distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires are in good shape.

What drivability symptoms did you have before it no longer started?
Did it stall while driving? Or won't restart after sitting?
Does it turn over but not fire off? Does it crank too fast/too slowly?
