Me and my my boyfriend have been together for 2 years and the other day he started saying he needs space. Is there someone else. Is he trying to break it off or do you think he really means it.a guys point of view would be great.

All of these are possibilities. Give him the space he says he needs while you go out and meet and date other people.

Give him the space he needs. Then he will either recognize that he needs you or he doesn't. But if you don't give him his freedom then he will leave you forever.

Have you two been seeing each other so often? If this is the case, then your boyfriend may feel that he is losing his time for himself. There's a saying that Absence makes the heart grow fonder. You will all the more miss each other if you don't see each other that much. Try giving him the space that he wants with space meaning, time alone with himself. This doesn't mean that there is a third party. Give him time to just be with himself... And it might make him miss you...

If you love something, set it free,
If it comes back, it is yours to keep,
If it doesn't come back,
It was never yours to begin with. (something like that I once read)
I personally think he has fell under the charm of another young lady.
