I have a 46 inch,21 hp husky mower, I believe it is a 2003. The latest episode is a faint click after turning the ignition switch. I have put a new battery and a new starter. Still nothing but a clicking sound around the battery compartment. This all started over replacing the belts. I thought it was the battery due to it requireing a jump the turn over,
Then when that ceased to work I noted the brushes on the starter were worn at a weird angle at a single brush(cocked) I have jumped the new starter with the switch on ,but nothing but a clicking sound?:confused:

When you say you jumped the new starter , are you referring to applying the red jumper cable directly to the starter connection?

Thanks For The Response , It Was A Poor Ground Connection At The Battery, Ended Up Replacing The Battery, Start Switch And Starter.
