While cutting my grass, the main mower belt broke, at the same time, the engine killed. Once I replaced the belt, I tried to start the tractor. When I turned the key, nothing... the volt meter needle doesn't move, the LCD hour meter does not come on, no juice to the starter, nothing.
I tried to charge the battery, got an error message indicating a problem with connection or battery. Tried to jump start with good battery, nothing.
I'm wondering if the belt damaged some part of the electrical system when it broke. I know the clutch wiring is next to the drive pully where the belt gave way, but I checked and it is still connected. I don't see any apparent lose or broken wiring.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
