Yogurt is great and so healthy for you, I think you should eat some every day. Your body needs to have a certain amount of "good" bacteria in the digestive tract and a lot of yogurts are made using "active" cultures (good bacteria). Yogurt comes from milk, so you also get a dose of animal protein and several other nutrients like calcium, B2 B12, potassium and magnesium. Yogurt helps with certain gastrointestinal conditions, helps with your blood pressure and general health. You feel fuller after eating some so it's a great snack food. Check label for sugar content and fat content, the low fat, low sugar brands are just as tasty. If you add a tbsp of ground flax seed every time you eat it that will add 3 grams of fiber and 2 grams pf omega 3. I add wheat germ and fresh fruit bits to mine for a quick breakfast.
