Hello Debt experts,

So I went to court against a collection agency for a debt I didn't owe most of and the judgement was in my favor, they had no proof, no plaintiff etc. (for those interested see previous posts)

I disputed the information on my credit report and it just came back as verified.

Is a collection agency allowed to still report on your credit file after it could'nt prove you owed the money in court? Also can I dispute it again?

Trying to clean up my credit file so just wondering! Thanks in advance!

Send the credit bureau a copy of the dismissal and tell them to remove the entry.

Send the credit bureau a copy of te court determination tell them to to remove un-verified item from your file. They must remove that item snce the court ruled in your favor
