I was just wondering how long does implantation bleeding last?
My situation is my ovulation date was July 26th and my period was due August 11th...
I ahd inter course on the 26 and 27th which was the days I was ovulating.. well the 5th of August I had some brown spotting that lasted for 4 days... it was very light and I didn't need to use any sanitary pads or panty liners it actually only showed when I used the restroom... it ended about the 9th and my period was due the 11th.. today is the 15th and my period still has not came... could this be implantation bleeding or is it just a very light abnormal period.. also 2 days ago I had some cold and flu like symptoms and I have been very tired and exhausted and sometimes when I stand I get very light headed tell me what you think??

I think that you're pregnant, when you only "spot" when you're supposed to have a normal period is a sign of pregnancy, and the fact that you have "flu like symptoms", most likely morning sickness, or regular pregnancy related sickness, especially if you've had intercourse on your ovulation days. Maybe you should take an at-home pregnancy test, or visit your doctor. Tell me what you think!

Spotting in place of a normal period can also be irregularity. Not everyone experiences spotting in early pregnancy. The symptoms of pregnancy can also be the symptoms of other things as well.

Just because you have intercourse during your ovulation period does not guarantee you will get pregnant. Conceiving can take a while. Don't get your hopes up, it will happen for you eventually! :)

In other words, this certainly may be a sign of implantation bleeding, some women mistake this for their period, and this usually happens ten days after ovulation, however the fact that you feel light-headed could be a sign of something else, you should ask your doctor about it, he/she will have some definite answers.

As for the flu-like symptoms, it could be anything, including a cold or flu... typically symptoms of pregnancy do not show this soon.

It is possible to be pregnant, but what you are describing are not reasons to believe so. I would wait another week and then take an HPT to be sure. Good luck.
