I owned a Carrier AC. The outside fan does not spin or work. The indoor thermostat control did not or has not shown any error message. I have checked out all circuit breaker and all tested OK. Is there a fuse somewhere I don't know about? What did I miss?

Thanks

There may be fuses at the outside unit in a box mounted on the wall next to the a/c.
If you remove the panel on the a/c you can try pushing in the contactor (with stick or screwwdriver) and see if it runs .

Take the cover off your thermostat. Then, take off the sub-base, which will then expose your base. Now, CAREFULLY with the power on, take two regular screwdrivers. SLOWLY and CAREFULLY place one screwdriver on the RC or the power connection to the thermostat, and one screwdriver to the A/C option, or the yellow wire. Make both screwdrivers connect. Does the outside unit come on now?
