Is there any possibility of getting crayon streaks and residue out of my dryer? A purple crayon was left in the pocket of my son's shorts and was dried. My fear is that not only the entire load of clothes is ruined but my dryer could be also. Any suggestions??
Thanks

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser :D
Good Luck.

Get the big stuff off with a hair dryer and something like scotch brite pads which have lots of pores to pick up the crayon.
For what's left, use WD-40 or Goo Gone.
If it's a gas dryer, make sure the smell is totally gone after using the solvents before using the dryer. If any device in the room has a pilot light (heater/water heater) turn it off. Use lots of ventilation. Use sparingly and don't tip over the container.
