My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for over 5 years and now we're both attending our third year in university. I usually sleep over at his apartment during the holidays. Neither of us wants to have sex, I guess we're both just plain lazyyy. :D I'm pretty sure we're not scared or unready. We just find cuddling up and having long chats in bed in our little PJ's so much more fun and interesting. Is this normal?

There is no normal, and what everyone else does is not an issue, if this is right for you, then it is right.

Yes its normal. One thing though. If you've had sex before in this relationship and you find its just not what you feel like doing take this into account. Sometimes with some couples. The urge for sex has gone down because it has just become a routine. Its unintresting after a while doing the same things over and over. If you feel like this is what has happened just try and spice things up. Surpise him with something sexy or some other idea you can come up with. But Cuddling is AWESOME too don't ever forget that :D

Highly unusual unless both of you have extraordinarily low libidos. But as has been said... what matters is are you both fine with this. If that answer is truly yes then there isn't a problem.

Unusual as in like, most people in this case would have had sex already right?

Or maybe we're just not old enough or somethingg? Like I mean, we're both only 21

Hello.

If you both enjoy what you have then don't worry about what others do or think. I do think your wanting to have sex and that's why your asking if your normal hehehe. Most couples would have sex by now or if they are saving it for their wedding night they would fool around. You need to do what feels right for you and that will always be the right thing for you to do.

Yeah... put two of your average people together like that and they would go at it like rabbits. But then, if you are both cool with this then that is all that matters.

Personally I find it very mature that you are taking the time to get to know each other on a deeper level rather than just hopping into the sack.

There seems to be a maturity there that is refreshing this day in age when people just want to hump like rabbits, but you are learning about each other on an entirely different level.

I wish more young people were like this.

You see, we have seen each other naked before. Like, okay this is what happened. The weather was super hot so we decided to sleep naked, I forgot who's idea it was. Then he was like, "Guess what? I see my cutie's vagina!" and I was like, "Oh yeah? Well I see my hottie's penis!" and we both started laughing a lot. Then we made silly faces, got into a pillow fight, and we were both pretty hyper. After that, we got exhausted, said our nightly "I love you"s, and gave each other a big hug/kiss before sleeping. I'll admit it was pretty fun. Don't worry, we weren't on drugs or anything lol, we're just kind of like that around each other. Does this sound immature? >.< Well I don't mind being immature but just wondering.

I don't think it's unusual. You two are focused on your education and not on each other's body.
I dated my husband for four years with no sex.
It could also mean that maybe you are not sexually attracted to each other. But If the situation is OK with the both of you, then hey, more power to you,
