Thanks CBW, being a nurse is much less complicated than French Braiding. LOL
Synnen
Aug 9, 2007, 05:16 AM
I can't french braid anyone's hair but my own.
I know that that's backwards from most people... but it's TRUE!
And I couldn't have given you instructions anyway, J. I drop all the hair on that side and re-grab it, picking up extra, when I'm french braiding.
curlybenswife
Aug 9, 2007, 05:16 AM
Hehhehehehehe I can't do french plats to save my life so I wouldn't worry about it do normal plats and put them into buns lol
Synnen
Aug 9, 2007, 05:20 AM
I can't quite get my hair into a normal braid yet... it's still too short!
I just pull it back with a binder most days, really. I'm lazy about doing anything with my hair.
Oh, but we are talking about Teen Queen Cheerleader here. LOL

Synnen
Aug 9, 2007, 07:24 AM
I use Noxema in the evenings, and Dove soap in the morning.
I'm not fancy by any means of the imagination. Most days, my makeup consists of eyeliner and mascara---but there are some ways that are better than others to put stuff on!

It was a scorcher that's for sure.. I went out to clean the dogs pool and it was full of dirt where he had rollde in the dirt before getting in the pool. Classic cool of tactic by animals.
Yeah, but in this heat the pool is hardly cool. We only swim at night now. Partly because of the horseflies, but still, who wants to be in bath water when it is over 100.
alkalineangel
Aug 9, 2007, 07:33 PM
I hate horseflies... friggin alien bugs.

Oh, I am tired. I couldn't get to sleep last night, so after lying in bed for 3 hours, I got up and took a melatonin, and crawled onto the couch with my pillow and blanket.
Insomnia strikes again! I just couldn't relax and stop thinking about work and going to my mom's this weekend, and all the bad things that could happen, you know?
J_9
Aug 10, 2007, 05:10 AM
Hun, I am with you on the insomnia. There are nights that Mr. J wants to lay in bed and watch TV, where I sometimes need total and complete dark and silence. Last night was one of those for me.
I love my couch on those nights. LOL

J_9
Aug 10, 2007, 11:37 AM
He has a stash of batteries. LOL, like a collection almost. And if the remote for the bedroom doesn't work, he just gets the one from the living room. Ah well, the couch is comfy when I need it and it usually gets the point across for the next night, (as I tend to be loud in the morning, at 4 am when he doesn't have to get up till 10), when I have had very little sleep. LOL

startover22
Aug 10, 2007, 12:18 PM
HAHAHAHHA to both of you
I was trying to figure out where in the hell the remotes are... I know where every single sock is! It is a huge issue with me
I used to have to mate socks every Sunday in my house... Holy Crap is that where I get it,, here I go stop me...
curlybenswife
Aug 10, 2007, 01:15 PM
Or like my nephew he hides them from his dad so he can't put the sport on, a few weeks back my sister kept saying to him sidney where have you put the remote control and he just kept pointing at the window he wouldn't actually tell her but a few hours later his dad got mighty fed up and opened the front door he has posted them both through the letter box into the pooring rain. He wasn't a popular boy that I can tell you.

Only in Disneyworld can you go around in full princess costume with tiara and nobody thinks twice about it. All the castmembers addressed her as "Princess" and gave her goodies and stickers and junk. She really enjoyed it.
Took being in Florida in August to appreciate Virginia's weather. 90 degrees felt cool today.

This morning, at precisely 6:00 AM, I was awakened by:
Oh. My. God. Becky, look at her butt.
