We have a split A/C system. Our outside unit seems to be working okay. We have had it recharged, cleaned out, and whatever else. However, air is not blowing out of the registers hardly at all. What air is coming out is cool, but it isn't enough! My little house has been 80 degrees this past week. The outside unit runs and runs, but again, hardly anything is coming out of my vents. My husband thinks it is the blower. Does this sound right? How much do these normally cost?
Thanks,
Sweating in Illinois!

Check the filter, check the duct work in the attic to insure that it is not broken, if you have a belt driven blower in the furnace , check this belt, are all the registers open?

Thank you for your response. Yes, all of the vents are open.

If unit is running and running and not cooling and air flow out of vents is not strong, Check the coil inside the inside to see if is iced up reducing air flow. If it is shut unit down so it will defrost and call for a quilfied tech to recharge unit. Possible a leak in system. You may want to have tech to check for leak and repair
