Hi-

I have a retired uncle living in my home. My cousin asked me to take him in. He doesn't pay for anything but food once and gives me two bits to buy him the cases of beer he requires to not go into alcohol withdrawl. He watches TV and drinks and gets drunk all day and night and is mean and bigoted through pickling his brain. I have no legal contract of any kind with him. I own my home and I would like to facilitate my fiancée moving in with me as is our plan, but, I need to get my uncle out. How do I get rid of him?

Thanks

Me

Ask him to leave. If he refuses, you'll have to have the sheriff evict him, which typically takes 30 days. In the future, don't take in one relative when another relative asks you to!
