I have a friend that was cutting up a deer and got some blood in an open wound... Now my friends finger is swollen and hsnt subsided for 3 days... Is it Trichinosis infection and if so how may it be fixed or treated.:confused:

We can't tell you accurately if it is trichinosis or not, he would have to be seen by a doctor for proper diagnosis.

If he has not had his tetanus shot in the past 10 years it is important he do so now.

Any infection will most likely be treated with antibiotics.

Please have him see his doctor now, sooner rather than later as infection is harder to deal with if you try to wait it out.
