I have an interesting situation I'd like to get some help about. So my girlfriend and I were talking last night, and I suddenly had a weird feeling, for some reason I felt like there was something she wasn't telling me. I asked her about it and she denied having any information she was withholding or lying about. I finally asked her if she had ever accidentally cheated on me, she told me that she wasn't sure if we were dating, but sometime during the month that I asked her out her and a guy she used to be interested in were together hanging out or something. She said that later on he had reminded her of a past situation between the two in which she gave him oral sex. She said she felt that when he reminded her of this situation she felt he was trying to get her to do it again, she then told him that she thought he should kiss her if he wasn't just trying to get her to do things to him and actually liked her. He paused and didn't do anything, so she kissed him once on the lips. My girlfriend tells me this situation wasn't serious or important in any way, but I would like to add that she has quite a large amount of guys in her past and has had a hard time telling the truth about them despite the fact that we've both agreed to share our sexual pasts in an effort to be completely honest. I personally think this new situation is very fishy, and along with being totally weird, seems the complete opposite of innocent. Please help with any advice or opinions you have, thanks.

If what you say is acurate without any chinese whispers from you, then she was initiating a relationship with this guy ! (he seemed just after sex) Whether they had sex or not, is not really the issue.. You can cheat on someone without sleeping with another, its if you want to be with another !

I have to ask the question, if he had wanted the relationship she was wanting would she be with you or him !

Considering her past and her inability to be honest with herself and others, I too would feel rather fishy about the situation. It doesn't add up that she would just have the guy kiss her in order to test his intentions. She can't remember if she was with you or not when all of this happened? Come on! Surly she is smarter than that, don't you think? In my opinion, I don't think she is telling the whole truth. However, it wouldn't be smart to jump to conclusions and be defensive right away because this could cause a whole circus of things which will take away from the true problem. It's best to give a couple of days and approach her in a cool, calm, nice manner and tell her that you really need to know the whole truth about that situation.
