This has been really bugging me lately!

The lead singer is in a car with an older man driving through various different locations in an open topped car- I seem to remember them stopping at a petrol station at one point and at the end, the car pulls up and the guy, I think, takes a bag out the boot and walks into a building - I even remember buying the single - I just can't seem to find it!

Btw, it was out in the 90's *I think*.

Thanks in advance people!

Yes - sorry if I didn't make myself clear!

The title of said song is driving me mad by the way - I can even hear it in my head, but the lyrics escape me!

I know the song, I have 3 or 4 albums at home. I can hear it in my head... I reckon its:
"Alone with you"
"Put your arms around me" or possibly
"Inner Smile"

Try http://www.texasindemand.com/video.html

It may give you a clue.

Thanks for trying to help!

I've tried the link you gave me, but there's not even a little hint of what this song is - I'd know it immediately if I saw the lyrics - this is doing my head in!

Unfortunately, the song titles you've mentioned don't ring any bells whatsoever - sorry!

I can see the video so clearly - it's really beautiful - images of the sun coming up, remote roads - someone please help me before I go insane!

And the 'older man' you describe is the swooningly handsome Alan Rickman, aka The Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Snape in Harry Potter...
