Yes. I had it on VHS and it was the best. The devil comes down to tempt high school students and so two angels come down to balance his evil tempting. They sing songs such as "Fads", "Don't talk about the consequence", "stop, go back, stop". All the kids in school want to join the choir and wear high tops as a sign of living a higher life. One girl doesn't get accepted to the band (the bad girl) and the devil tempts her to cheat and lie and take drugs. The nice girl (heather) is dating a jock and he tries to have sex with her but she says NO. And a nerd falls in love with the angel girl. It takes place in this weird looking set.

I've got a copy of it. I watched the heck out of it when I was a kid, one of my friends found it in an old box of vhs tapes and transferred it to dvd. Its on my iPod now...

This musical was written and produced by Ernie and Debbie Retino. I have the soundtrack on a cassette tape, but I would love to have a dvd of the musical. I've tried contacting Maranatha Music - but it is not being made anymore. I would love a copy as well if anyone knows where to find one!

I just sent an email to the producers and this is their reply:

Hi
Thanks for your email. We are planning on bringing it back out, as soon as some of the particulars are worked out. The tenative release date is June of this year. In the meantime we can make a DVD (vhs quality) for you if you can't wait. The cost is $15 plus shipping ($12.50).

OK so I am a high schooler and at my school my music teacher has this group call Mansion Builders and we are a singing, dancing, and paising group for the lord. And last year was the rejoining of the group of 16 years after a 4 year break. Last year we did the musical high tops and I loved it and I am so excited to know that there is a vhs of it and now I am going to go and look for it on eBay!!

Oh my goodness... yes I know what you are talking about!! My sisters and I used to watch it all the time on VHS. We talk about it all the time and wish we still had the tape. We have all searched for a copy and can't find one. We loved it. No one ever knows what we are talking about when we ask if they've heard or seen it. Do you know where there is a copy? I remember that is was a musical about an a couple angels and Lucifer. Sp? There were two nerds that fell in love and some popular kids that were all in the band. We still sing the song about being in the band. I know, we're dorks... Anyhow, please let me know if you know where to find this play.

O... M... G!! I can't believe there are so many other people who remember this musical!! I'm from Cincinnati, O.H, and my siblings and I used to watch this tape EVERY SINGLE DAY!! We definitely still sing ALLLLL the songs allll the time!! I'm so glad I finally know other people that remember this! I wonder if I could find these songs online anywhere!

I have never seen the musical, but I hear its fantastic. My school is doing it, and I was just cast as Heather. Can anyone let me know anything about the part? Preferably things like any solos and if so, in what songs, what she is like, and how big the part is. Also, I heard that there is a kiss in it. If that is correct, does anyone know who its between? It was made by Maranathan Music. You can check on their website and I know someone said earlier they emailed the producers. Check a few posts back. I think they said you could get the CD for $10.00

I just did this musical!! It was sooo much fun. We put together an abridged version in 6 days. I played "Lewy". I'm a girl, but I was just as viscoius as any guy. It was awesome.
