Install AVG (free.grisoft.com/doc/28415/lng/us/tpl/v5) anti-virus for free, update and run a full scan.
Please check out the removal steps from symantec (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-121310-2059-99&tabid=3)

Its probably a virus... I would buy or get an Anti-Virus and scan it to see what's going on... otherwise you must have accidentally deleted or moved something... but that's a whole different topic.

I think its Sohanad a.k.a win32.autoit.exe / new folder.exe. I bet there's "new folder" in your flash drive. If so, then this might work.
Delete these files if they exist:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\RVHOST.exe
c:\windows\rvhost.exe
%all drives%\new folder.exe
C:\Windows\Tasks\At1.job
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre
ntVersion\Run in the registry, and you need delete the entries which
contain RVHOST.exe in them, or better yet, change them back to their
appropriate paths.
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre
ntVersion\Policies\System
"DisableTaskManager" = 1 (CHANGE IT TO 0 )
"DisableRegistryTools" = 1 (CHANGE IT TO 0 )
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre
ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
"nofolderoptions" = 1 (CHANGE IT TO 0)
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Schedule
"attaskmaxhours" = 0 (CHANGE IT TO 24)
opps!. I forgot. Most important thing is you must disconnect from the internet totally.
