My tractor starts fine but if I turn it off it won't restart for about 2 hours. I have changed the spark plugs and air filter. I frequently change the oil and check level before running. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It Is Great That Someone Understands How Important It Is To Change Oil, And Air Filter.
Now For Your Problem, You Stated That It Would Start Fine, And If You Cut It Off It Will Not Restart For About Two Hours. Sounds Like To Me You Have A Problem With You Coil. The Coil Can Be A Funny Thing, It Can Work Like A Champ When The Engine Is Cool, And When It Gets Hot, Blammy, It "dies"(the Coil).
What Happens Is The Coil Overheats And Separates Inside, The Only Repair Is To Replace The Coil.
Let Me Know What You Find.

To Test The Coil After It Will Not Start, Remove A Spark Plug, Reattach The Plug Wire To Spark Plug, Hold The Spark Plug With Well Insulated Pliers(plastic Handles) To Where The Hex Shape Of The Plug Body Is Against Some Metal Of The Engine And Have Someone Set On The Seat, Press Clutch / Brake And Turn The Key. Watch To See If You Can See A Spark, If You See A Spark, Then The Coil Is Firing And Is Fine.
