Hello, I have found that every night there are a lot of snails/slugs everywhere outside on the sidewalks and driveway. What can I do to get rid of them or make them go away. I hate having to watch every step I take when I am walking around at night. They are just gross looking and feeling when you step on one. They are light brown with darker brown/black spots on them in varying sizes. Please help and thanks.

For slugs, pour beer into shallow pans. Supposedly, they crawl in, drink, get drunk, and drown. It worked for me, and is presumably more humane than other ways of killing them.

I don't know whether it will work on snails.

You might try putting a little beer, yup, beer, in a pie tin. The little buggers seem to love beer. They will go after the beer and drown.

I save the beer for my own consumption. I use salt. Good Luck
