Why would you want to get back together with him? Why are you letting him dictate how things go? Really think about it before you make a decision.

Well it all depends on if you really liked him when you were dating, was a he a jerk, was he thoughtful, was he the self centered type. It also depends on who broke up with who and why.
If he's the nice kind of boyfriend then give him another chance unless you broke up because one of you cheated. Good luck!

If it didn't work the first time, honestly I would like to know, what makes you think it will work this time?

I'm getting this question a lot lately on my dating blog. Must be popular for ex's to want to get back together these days!

Okay, here's the thing. When you break up, it's done. There IS a reason you broke up and that is because you two weren't meant to be together. If you're in the process of getting over him, don't ruin it by getting back together only to rehash all the same old problems.

If you really really believe that things will be different this time, make a list of why you think that. Be realistic and determine WHAT'S CHANGED now that will make it work. If you still think the relationship will be different this time around, meet up with your ex to talk about things. Ask him the same thing: what's changed? If he can't give you a good enough answer, move on and don't look back.
