I'm a handyman and curious is there a easy way to change a non grounded outlet into a grounded outlet

You would need 3 conductors(Hot, Neutral, and ground), See if you can pull new wiring through attic? Or underneath?
I never deal with it, when I did, I replaced it. Don't know of some exception that allows neutral and ground tied together? Hopefully TK will see this post, and shed some light. I'm curious also. He probably has it in his head.

There is no exception to connect neutrals and grounds for an outlet. As Strat sates, you can run new cable with a ground wire. Or you can use a GFI breaker or outlet, change any 2 wire outlets to 3 wire that will be protected by the GFI, and apply the "No Equipment Ground" label that comes with the GFI outlets.
