Does anyone have experience with the Revitol cream or other arbutin creams?

Any info/experiences good or bad would be appreciated.

Hi, I think you should try them rather than modern chemical industry offers, since they are completely natural. My friends GrandMa 's crazy about Revitol. By the way, she makes orders at revitolcreams dot com (http://www.revitolcreams.com).
Thanks,
Jane

Thanks for the info auntjane.

My concern is that arbutin is supposed to be a derivative of hydroquinone. I've heard that hydroquinone can actually darken your skin which is the last thing any of us want, and the same might apply to arbutin (even though the claim is that it doesn't have the same side effects as hydroquinone).

Has your friend's grandma been using the cream for long? It's tempting to try Revitol, but I'm afraid of it making the hyperpigmentation worse.

Thanks again.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients

* Arbutin lightens skin.
* Allantoin heals and moisturizes.
* Shea Butter firms and tightens.
* Lumiskin prevents skin discoloration.
* Squalene natural antioxidant fights free radicals.
* Evening Primrose Oil prevents inflammation.
* Vitamins A, C and E support natural skin health.
* Grapefruit Extract the most effective skin infection preventer.
* Z Whitener increases the effectiveness of Arbutin naturally.
And

Arbutin is an extremely effective skin lightener and antioxidant that is made from the bearberry tree. Arbutin is a natural alternative to skin lighteners such as hydroquinone that have been associated with dangerous side effects. Arbutin avoids side effects and odors. It reduces free radicals that damage and age the skin, contributing to brighter more radiant skin. Arbutin also has antibacterial properties.

So you see that is nothing about chemicals, only natural components.

So, another one moment. They (http://www.revitolcreams.com) have Money Back Guarantee, that's important I think.

Thanks,
Jane.

Hello There,

I've been using Revitol skin brightener for about a week now and I have noticed my skin has gotten smoother. Results take up to 4 weeks or so. It is all natural and has a money back guarantee. It is supposed to lighten and give you smoother more radiant skin. It is an all natural product and has gotten very good ratings. I will update you with my progress every week. I would recommend an all natural product that will moisten your skin, unlike those harmful other products that irritate and dry out your skin.

I had been using Revitol skin brightener for almost 2 weeks now and it seems as if it has started to make my skin a bit darker so I discontinued use. At first it seemed as if it was starting to work, but did not. I do not recommend this product. It has a money back guarantee so I will be getting a full refund. I read a forum on Melederm as well and the same thing happened to a user of that product. They were rated top skin lighteners and both turned out to be a dissappoinment. If anyone knows a great product that actually works please respond. Please only honest people who are actually using the products and have gotten great results. I do not want reponses from people who are just trying to make sales. Thanks!
