I was on holiday in valencia and found a painting that intigued me. It was in the cathrdral of valencia but as I don't speak spanish at all I could not make sense of info written below it. What I did get was what I am sure is the title... Capilla de la beuta josefa and I thought the artist was Naval Girbes I now think N G may have been more of the title of this piece. Not too sure!! I have searched wikipedia and all kinds of places for a copy and info of this picture but to no avail. I have found some links through the title but they say the lady in the picture was born in 1820. The painting was dated 1790?? Any I deas on where I can find more about this enigmatic picture?
