Limewire is legal as long as you don't burn CD's and sell them and junk like that.

As long as you don't misuse the programs, they are legal.

No. You are not supposed to transfer it from the Limewire program to anywhere.

Just regular limewire. All Pro really does is make your downloads faster.

What, pray tell, is IT? If you are asking if LIMEWIRE is legal, it always has been. If you are asking if downloading copyrighted material using LIMEWIRE to do so is legal, it never has been, nor is it now. The only way to legally download copyrighted songs or movies is to visit a site wherein you pay for the download, or pay for a membership which gives you the authorization to download. Paying for LIMEWIRE is only paying for the service itself.

I am not aware of LIMEWIRE charging a subscription fee or a download fee. They have been in court battling the R.I.A.A. and I doubt we will see a fee from them anytime soon.

You pay for an automobile which requires gasoline. You don't expect to get free gas from the pump just because you paid for the car, do you?? Trust me, if you said YES, you should surrender to local authorities at once. The "fee" LIMEWIRE charges you to download the PRO version if for the right to use their software (legally) and ONLY for that right. It in no way gives the user any additional rights to download copyrighted materials.

Be smart. Be safe. Buy music.
