What proof is there that the universe began from a big bang I know it's expanding but what else?

Here you go Big Bang Theory (http://www.big-bang-theory.com/)

I hope this helps you.

To believe the Big Bang theory, wouldn't you have to believe that space ends somewhere? You can't gather an infinite amount of something in one spot, because there is always more to gather. Even if you could gather an infinite amount of matter into an infinitely small ball, what's outside the ball? And if it was possible to gather EVERYTHING into one infinitely small space, what would trigger it to expand?

Well, there is evidence apart from the universe expanding - outer space isn't quite the coldest possible and it is very slowly cooling down. Probably a big impact like the Big Bang would have produced a lot of heat!

Yes, why do you ask?

Antony dot f dot disagrees: This is just a link to something that was not done by otto186. He hasn't given his opinion!
Welcome to the site Antony. There is nothing wrong with providing a link to great factual information in a science forum. One is under no obligation to give their opinion.
