I am having a problem with my kitchen sink. I have a horrible odor coming from the sprayer when it is being used. I have a double sink. The garbage disposal is on one side and the sprayer is on the other. The faucet straddles the middle. The odor only happens when I am using the sprayer. It is a sewer type smell. I can't take it. Please help.

Your spray head will unscrew from the hose. Take it off and soak it in full strength bleach for 15 minutes. Now try it. Smell better now?

Thanks Speedball but that did not work. I soaked the spray head. Was I supposed to soak the hose also? The smell is crazy!
