Temp gets hot out side, sun beating down car gets hot and it won't start , I've narrowed down 2 it not getting fuel. Why does it do this ? The car has 220000 miles on it, is fuel pump going out? Is fuel line collasping? Help!

Sounds like classic symptoms of a failed main relay. It's located under the dash, left of steering column (hidden by silver cruise control box, which needs to be removed). Here's what it looks like and costs:
