When applying for a Canadian Pardon, why does it take longer to receive the pardon if the conviction was indictable as opposed to summary. What is the difference, and why the different time frame also?

Indictable crimes are far more serious crimes than summary ones.

For example, sexual assault, murder are all indictable offences.

So perhaps they are taking more time before handing out pardons on indictable offences.

Thank you Captain Forest! That makes sense, so the next question would be: Is a small fraud charge (price changing in store) summary or indictable?
